The Weinberger Lab (UCSF/Gladstone, Mission Bay campus) is seeking a Research Associate to support synthetic biology work on novel antivirals (see TED talk).
Under the guidance of senior lab scientists, the candidate will receive training to provide technical support for molecular cloning, tissue culture, viral purification, microscopy and translational studies, as well as general laboratory management.
Qualifications:
- B.S./B.A., in biology, chemistry, engineering or a related field and >12 months of lab experience (preferred) or Associate’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
