As a vital member of the Records/Information Dissemination Section in Pocatello, ID, you will receive, research, process and respond to complex inquiries regarding the release/dissemination of FBI documents and/or litigation handled by the Office of General Counsel attorneys. Using discretion, you will determine the appropriate approach to address each assignment and prepare and oversee various responses provided to other federal government agencies, the Department of Justice, Congress and the general public.

Ideal candidates possess knowledge on matters pertaining to Freedom of Information and Privacy Acts (FOIPA), and legal and regulatory guidelines governing classified documents, as well as knowledge of central records systems, numerous classified and unclassified databases and records management technologies. Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of 3.0 cumulative GPA from an accredited college or university.

Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills are also required to excel in this position. You must be a U.S. citizen and consent to a complete background investigation, drug test and polygraph as a prerequisite for employment. The FBI is an equal opportunity employer.

Starting salary from $45,972.
