If you are an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in science or engineering and have an interest in law, consider a career in Intellectual Property Law!
Dority & Manning’s Summer Internship Program is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IP law and explore the career path of a Patent Agent or Patent Attorney. We are committed to leading an excellent program and our interns are considered much more than just students - they are a part of our team.
Internship students will have an opportunity to learn from attorneys as they engage in assignments and projects related to patent prosecution, trademark prosecution, and litigation for Fortune 100 companies as well as other national and international clients.
In addition to assigned projects, summer interns will be invited to participate in various professional development opportunities such as Continuing Legal Education sessions, lunch & learns, and other activities specifically designed for summer interns.
In addition to an excellent work experience, candidates can also expect a summer full of enjoyable events and opportunities to create lasting connections with fellow summer interns and the D&M team. Past events include Minor League Baseball games, volunteer activities, go-karting, and more.
