The Congregation Beth Shalom Early Childhood Center is looking for compassionate, experienced teachers to join our team. Our staff is reliable, respectful, caring and fun! Pay starts at $20-$22 per hour depending on role and experience. Teachers get a bonus of $600-$1000 after 3 months depending on the role. Ideal candidates have experience with young children in an early childhood environment.

We are committed to providing excellent, quality childcare for all young children in a safe, nurturing environment that is also rich in Jewish content. We are looking for teachers who are caring, flexible, good communicators and have experience working with children. Knowledge of Judaism issued plus, but not required.
Our curriculum is emergent, child centered, and creative. We respect children as capable people who are able to make choices in their own learning. We believe that children learn best through play and hands on experiences. We design the environment to provoke children’s natural curiosity and interest in learning. We maintain low staff ratios, so teachers can support children’s experiences by asking open ended questions, facilitating problem solving and providing opportunities to expand or extend projects.
