THE ROLE
The Community Services and Engagement Department of the City of North Las Vegas is seeking motivated and enthusiastic interns to assist with various projects and initiatives across multiple divisions: Education, Housing and Neighborhood Services, Veteran Services, Homeless Outreach Services, and Community Outreach Services. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public service, community engagement, and local government operations.
Pay
The hourly pay for this position is: $18 – $19 (based on education level)
Requirements
- Recent Graduate/ Currently enrolled in a college or university program related to public administration, social work, urban planning, education, or a related field.
- Current enrollment with a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester (undergraduate level) or 3 credit hours per semester (graduate level)
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
- A valid Nevada driver’s license
