The CITE Foundation is hiring multiple undergraduate interns to join a growing, mission‑driven organization focused on strengthening public understanding of clinical research and expanding participation across all communities. We welcome students who demonstrate strong writing, research ability, creativity, and professionalism. We are filling roles across five functional divisions and will place candidates based on their skills, background, and organizational fit. Interns work directly with Foundation leadership on initiatives that support funding, visibility, partnerships, research, and operations.
GRANTS & FUNDING — Primary Need (4 Positions)
Research and identify grant opportunities from federal, state, foundation, and private funding sources
Draft grant narratives, letters of intent, and proposal components
Source data, statistics, and evidence to strengthen applications
Assist with budgets, attachments, and submission materials
Maintain a grant calendar, deadline tracker, and funding pipeline database
MEDIA & PODCAST (5 Positions)
Support podcast workflow including guest scheduling and recording logistics
Edit audio and video content; create reels, clips, and short‑form media
Manage TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts content calendars
Design thumbnails, infographics, quote cards, and brand visuals
Write captions, scripts, blog posts, and storytelling content
PARTNERSHIPS & OUTREACH (3 Positions)
Conduct outreach to universities, student groups, public health programs, and professional organizations
Build and maintain relationships with organizations, clinics, and local leaders
Track outreach activity, follow‑ups, and responses using CRM tools
Schedule and coordinate introductory calls and partnership meetings
RESEARCH & CONTENT (2 Positions)
Summarize clinical research articles and prepare briefs for leadership
Create educational content, infographics, and clear materials that explain clinical research
OPERATIONS & ADMINISTRATION (1 Position)
Support calendar management, meeting coordination, and task tracking
Organize digital files, shared workspaces, and operational records
Take meeting notes and maintain cross‑team communication
Minimum Requirements (Undergraduate Version)
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in public health, communications, journalism, health policy, health administration, life sciences, business, or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Professional, self‑motivated, and reliable
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Preferred Skills
Coursework or experience in writing, research, or nonprofit work
Familiarity with podcast production, video editing, or content creation tools
Experience with social media strategy and content calendars
Interest in clinical research or public‑facing communication
Experience with CRM systems or project management platforms
