Working with a high-performing data science team you and your coach will own this project. Additionally, you’ll learn about other initiatives (past, present, and future) and how 1010data approaches business problems bringing data and computer science to solve complex problems.
The Projects:
Project 1:
Build a system for detecting trends in unstructured text data. Examples include automatically identifying fast-growing brands or product attributes in retail transaction data. The goal will be to deliver a general-purpose set of tools that can be used to apply such trend detection to any text-based dataset, coaching from Sr. Data Scientist.
Project 2:
Build statistical approaches for identifying shopping behavior by the same individual across datasets that have been de-identified and which lack a common key for identifying individuals. The goal of the project is to develop standard tools to match individuals across data sources to enable removing duplicate data and/or enriching our product insights by enabling a more complete view of consumer behavior. Coaching from Sr. Data Scientist.
