(Employer Education Webinar) Equitable Hiring & Onboarding Practices

Employer education webinars are designed to help educate you and your organization’s hiring professionals on the top trends and best practices specific to Huskies here at the University of Washington.

Join us as we discuss equity in the workplace, especially in regards to hiring interns and early talent. In this presentation, you can expect to:

• Delve into some existing standard practices in recruitment and retention that may exclude or disadvantage marginalized populations
• Understand and identify some new best practices and standards for onboarding and retaining new employees
• Consider how to revamp aspects of your hiring processes, including: position descriptions, onboarding checklists, career fair participation, hiring rubrics, team-building, and more
