What are Career Connections events?
Career Connections are mini career fair events hosted by the UW Career & Internship Center in our lobby space at 134 Mary Gates Hall. Multiple employers are invited to table, and recruiters share information about their organizations and open opportunities. Students are welcome to stop by the lobby anytime between 11:00am and 1:00pm to converse with recruiters, learn about job openings, and practice networking. All majors and school years are welcome to attend, but we particularly encourage those with an interest in careers in the associated industries to attend.
Do I need to prepare?
Students do not need to adhere to a dress code for this event, but they should consider bringing a few copies of their resume. Drop in anytime between class periods for a chance to engage with hiring professionals and learn about roles related to careers in law, government, and policy.
Students do not need to register for Career Connections in order to attend, but we encourage you to register on Handshake to receive event reminders.
