Caitlin Goldbaum

As a career coach, I assist current students and recent alumni with career exploration, telling your academic and professional story, and gaining confidence in the transition from college to career. While I work with students from any major, I have a background in the Arts and a strong interest in supporting pre-major and second year students in the College of Arts and Sciences. My goal is to create comfortable spaces where students can take risks, get creative, and problem solve.

I grew up in Seattle, but spent nine years in the Midwest where I earned a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton College and a Master’s degree in Ethnomusicology from Indiana University. Prior to joining the Career and Internship Center staff in 2017, I spent three years working as the undergraduate academic advisor for the UW School of Drama.

Outside of work, I enjoy running half marathons, singing, watching live theater, and testing out new recipes.
