As the Internship Success Manager, I am excited to help students explore, find, and acquire high-quality internship experiences. I mainly work with UW staff, campus advisers, and employers to develop programs and processes that ensure students can access and thrive in these meaningful outside-the-classroom opportunities.

I grew up in San Jose, CA and received my Bachelor’s in Political Science and Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. My first job after college was in grassroots political activism in the Washington D.C. area. In that position, I worked with college student volunteers and found that higher education and student affairs was a great fit for my career interests. I came to UW for my Master’s degree in 2015, and prior to this role I have worked with student leadership programming and undergraduate research at the UW.

Outside of work, you can probably find me cooking up a new recipe, playing ultimate Frisbee, or hiking and camping.
