Jessie Smith

Assistant Director of Employer & Student Engagement

Jessie Smith

As a member of the Employer & Student Engagement team, I facilitate connections between students and employers though our Industry Mentorship Programs, company site visits, panels, and other programming. I help students explore the world of work, make connections, and understand how non-linear career pathways can develop.

I’m originally from Toronto, Canada, and made my way across the continent to attend Washington State University. While earning a degree in Psychology, I competed for Cougar swimming in breaststroke and sprint freestyle. Following graduation I worked in recruiting, before making the transition to higher education. Outside of work I enjoy camping, live music, and traveling.
