Maximizing Academic Success: Self-Advocacy and Support
Your professors and teaching assistants are here for you! Make sure to advocate for yourself if you ever need anything whatsoever. The problem is never as big as we can make it out to be in our heads. Also, if you can schedule office hours with your professors, do it! They all have had really interesting paths to get where they are, and they probably will inspire you or have words of wisdom to pass on.
