On behalf of the Sisterhood Initiative
We are so excited to invite you to our Spring Salon, CROWN & COIL: A SI x UDS Salon Circle, happening on Tuesday, May 5 from 5:00–7:00 PM at Founders Hall (FNDR), Peak Forum (5th Floor, Room 580)!
This free event is an intimate, community-centered space designed for Black women to come together in conversation around our relationships with hair—identity, care, culture, and self-expression. In partnership with Undergraduate Diversity Services (UDS), this salon circle will create room for honest dialogue, shared experiences, and collective reflection in real time.
Together, we’ll explore the ways our hair connects to who we are, how we show up in the world, and how we navigate personal and professional spaces. This is a space rooted in care, community, and authenticity; come as you are.
We’ll also have light refreshments for you to enjoy as we gather and connect.
If you haven’t already, be sure to RSVP to secure your spot. Space is limited to keep the conversation intentional and intimate.
Be sure to RSVP HERE. This event is open to members of the UW community, and we encourage you to share with those who would benefit from being in this space.
We’re looking forward to holding this meaningful conversation together!
