For pre-health students: UW has an upcoming study abroad program called “HONORS/MED London: Socializing Medicine – Comparing Concepts of Societal Safety Nets” that is taking place during summer 2026. This program has run for the last two years. Although pre-health students would particularly benefit from this program, it is open to students from all disciplines.
The course is housed through the Honors program but student membership in Honors is NOT a requirement for participation. It is cross-listed with both Honors and Medicine – this means students can elect to receive either HONORS 233 or MED 490 credits.
