If you’re looking for job that is convenient to campus, Handshake has two great features that can help you with your search. To get started, login to your Handshake account at uw.joinhandshake.com using your UWNetID credentials.

On the Handshake Website

Navigate to the Jobs section of Handshake.

Under the UW Collections drop down menu, select Campus Student Jobs – UW Seattle for jobs located on the UW Seattle campus. To expand your job search, choose Close to Campus – UW Seattle to find jobs just minutes from campus with employers like Seattle Children’s Hospital, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and the Woodland Park Zoo.

You can Save jobs for later or Apply immediately in Handshake. You can Follow the employer to make sure you are stay up to date on new opportunities.

You can also follow collections to receive alerts when new jobs are added. Navigate to the Career Center section of Handshake and scroll down to View All Collections.

On the Handshake App

Filters and Collections look a little bit different on the Handshake app, but they are still easy to use!

Start by navigating to Jobs, click on the UW Collections drop-down filter and then select Campus Student Jobs or Close to Campus.
