Student Stories: Allison Naumann

Be Familiar With Failure

Some of the most valuable lessons I learned in college came from moments of failure. Not doing well on a test taught me to pause, reflect, and rethink my approach. These skills became even more important in research, where setbacks are part of discovery. Whether an experiment works or not, every challenge is an opportunity to grow stronger and more resilient. Failure isn’t the end, but instead is often the beginning of real progress.
