UW MAPS Pre-Health Conference 4/26 *buy tickets today

On behalf of the Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students at the University of Washington Seattle Campus, the Pre-Health Conference at the Husky Union Building is happening on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, from 9am-5pm.

This in-person conference is the largest pre-health conference at the University of Washington and is open to all individuals at a high school, community college, and/or undergraduate college level. Spots are limited, so please sign up today!

Students will have the opportunity to…

  1. Network with healthcare professionals, advisors, and students across various career fields such as medicine, PA, dentistry, nursing, biomedical research and more!
  2. Connect with Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) at UW, graduate school admissions, community organizations in healthcare, and volunteer opportunities at our Resource Fair.
  3. Attend workshops to broaden students’ perspectives on what “healthcare” means, and how to be well-rounded healthcare professionals. Examples include:
    1. Learning hands-on techniques with a suturing workshop, dental workshop, as well as learning how to take vital signs and read diagnostic images.
    1. Preparing for medical school by learning about the admissions process and the MCAT.
    1. Understanding the impacts Social Determinants of Health have on underrepresented communities.
    1. Learning about the differences between the many areas of healthcare in various healthcare professions panels!
