If you’ve secured an internship offer for Winter quarter and are interested in earning academic credit for demonstrating what you learn at your site, you have two main options.
- Departmental internship course: Your academic department may offer an internship or independent study course. Check with your academic adviser or look at the UW Time Schedule for an internship course in your department, as these will typically count towards major or elective credits.
- GEN ST 350, Section C/D: This asynchronous course supports students in guided reflection, goals development and career competencies related to their professional goals. Students must complete the registration process by Friday, January 17th in order to register for Winter quarter.
International students should consult with ISS when evaluating and accepting internship offers, as some visas will require concurrent enrollment in a course. Work authorization for internships can take up to 2-4 weeks to process, please plan accordingly.
