Flexible and Free Pre-Health Shadowing Opportunities
| Pre-Health Shadowing, a student-founded, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to supporting shadowing experiences for aspiring healthcare professionals around the world. Since their inception in September 2020, over 67,000 students globally have received more than 400 hours of free, certifiable shadowing opportunities. Our mission is to address inequities in healthcare education, foster diversity, and provide accessible opportunities for students at all stages of their academic journeys. “We are proud to be acknowledged by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) as a credible shadowing organization. Here’s what we offer: Free Virtual Shadowing: Flexible, live or asynchronous shadowing opportunities that accommodate students’ busy schedules. We offer experiences across all healthcare fields, including over 130 subspecialties. Volunteer Leadership Roles: Over 80 student leadership positions designed to empower future healthcare professionals and enhance their leadership skills. Volunteering Projects: Engaging, hands-on experiences that allow students to develop essential skills, with both synchronous and asynchronous options available.Our program serves a diverse audience, ranging from high school to graduate students, including those from community colleges. Anyone is welcome to join for free. Participants explore various healthcare fields, from medicine and nursing to veterinary sciences and beyond. |
