Fall is peak recruitment season for many industries. As you get ready to return to campus, here’s a few things you can do to get ready to apply for jobs and internships:
1. Download the Handshake app

2. Fill out your profile
Your profile not only helps potential employers learn about you, but a completed profile can help you see more relevant job and internship opportunities. Make sure to fill out your Job Interests (Job type, Cities and Roles). 80% of students who fill out these three critical sections of their profile receive a message from a recruiter!
3. Save jobs and events
This is another way to help Handshake serve up better recommendations for you. Taking a few minutes to start searching for and saving jobs that align with your interests now will ensure that Handshake helps you find the best opportunities for you throughout the fall.
You can also find out about events happening on campus or virtually this fall and register for the ones that interest you. From career fairs and workshops to employer info sessions and alumni networking events, there’s an event on Handshake that’s right for you.
