Foreign Policy Job, Internship Opportunities & Info Session [Jan 24]

The Washington Institute for Near East Policy (TWI), a Washington-based think-tank specializing in Middle East foreign policy, has many new job opportunities and an informational session on January 24, 2023, at 3:00 PM PST.

The Institute runs a unique program called the “RA/Intern Program” for college students and early career professionals where they get the opportunity to work at the Institute’s Washington, D.C. office. These jobs are already posted to Handshake: Research Assistant (2023-2024) (Job #7410230), Research Assistant Fikra Forum (Job #7410318), and Research Internships (Job #7410389). They are accepting applications on a rolling basis.

For college seniors and early career professionals, the Research Assistant (RA) program accepts a cohort of brilliant candidates each year to work and learn alongside leading experts on Middle East policy, in D.C., supporting one of our research programs. This is a very unique opportunity that allows entry-level professionals to contribute to policy work in a meaningful way. This is a paid, year-long, and full-time position and a great springboard into prestigious careers in foreign policy.

They also offer a paid Summer Internship program (June – August 2023) that those interested can take advantage of to expose themselves to the policy world in Washington, D.C. Accepted candidates work in our D.C. office supporting one of our research programs.

The informational session on January 24 at 3:00 PM PST is an excellent opportunity for students interested in foreign policy and politics to find out more about the Institute and the RA/Intern program. Attendees will also get to ask specific questions to current RAs and Interns in the Q&A. As posted on our event page, interested students can register here.   More information on the program is available on our website here,
