ADAP:The Innovations in Health Research Symposium – Proposals close 9/17

Hello UW Students,

We hope everyone is enjoying their summer! As a reminder, abstract submissions for ADAP:The Innovations in Health Research Symposium are due this Saturday, September 17th at 11:59 PM PDT. For anyone who participated in research this summer or over the school year, this is a fantastic opportunity to share your work!

Join us October 25th from 4-7 PM at the HUB Ballroom for our research symposium jointly hosted by American Medical Student Association, American Medical Women’s Association, Delta Epsilon Mu, and Phi Delta Epsilon with the intent to showcase the research that undergraduates in the pre-health fields are currently working on. We hope to provide a platform for students to share their research, learn about the research of their peers, and hear from two keynote speakers sharing about their unique paths to research and health.

If you are interested in submitting an abstract, please review our application linked here [app.oxfordabstracts.com]. Prior to completing the form, applicants are required to have a project title, abstract (250-300 words), and list all co-authors. Additionally, mentor approval of the abstract is required prior to submission. Once you submit an application, our Graduate Student Panel will review your application and notify you if you are selected for a poster presentation by October 5th.

If you would like additional guidance on writing your abstract or have your abstract reviewed by our Graduate Student Panel, please email us with “Abstract Review” in your subject line prior to the abstract deadline.

Please email adapt.expo@gmail.com if you have any questions.
