Law Diversity Scholarship Program Opportunity

Sui Generis created the Elevate scholarship program to address the challenges that students from historically underrepresented backgrounds face in the legal field by providing a full year of free academic support to first-year law students. This support includes weekly small group workshops in which students receive feedback on their legal analysis and writing, along with mentoring and employment resources and access to legal professionals to begin developing their professional networks. Elevate differs from other programs by providing students with small group instruction and does so during their 1L year, as opposed to the summer before, when questions and challenges are more likely to arise as students adjust to the unique style and format of law school and its exams.

We believe, and in fact have shown, that by teaching the practical skills that have the greatest impact on performance in law school and beyond, students can excel and land competitive internships.
