Dr. Tomoko Sairenji talk 4/28

Join students from across the nation to hear from UW Medicine’s Dr. Tomoko Sairenji. Born and raised in Japan, Dr. Tomoko Sairenji attended International Christian University (ICU) High School and ICU before continuing her medical education at Okayama University. She trained for two years at Aso Iizuka Hospital in Fukuoka before coming to Pittsburgh, PA, for her residency in Family Medicine. She is now a family physician in Seattle, WA, and a faculty member at the UW School of Medicine.

Topics will include:

  • Challenges as an Asian woman in the medical field
  • Work-Life Integration as a working mother
  • Medical fields in different countries
