Use the Skills that You Learn in College Overseas with the Peace Corps

The Peace Corps is a 27-month service opportunity to work on community led projects in one of 60 countriesSector options include health, agriculture, environment, education, community economic development, and youth in development. Volunteers receive benefits during and after their service, including getting a living stipend during their service. Jessica Phares is the Peace Corps recruiter for UW-Seattle, and she is located in 134 Mary Gates Hall with the Career & Internship Center. She has plenty of resources for those ready to apply, and those exploring the Peace Corps as an option several years from now.
