UW First-Year Programs is hiring multiple student leader roles!

FIG Leader | APPLY BY JAN 16th @ 11:59pm | FIG Leaders develop a ten-week curriculum in the spring quarter consisting of modules, lesson plans, and active learning classroom activities that will assist first year students in their transition to university. In the autumn quarter, FIG Leaders facilitate a section of GEN ST 199, by serving as a teacher and a mentor to the students in the FIG. Orientation Leader | APPLY BY JAN 16th @ 11:59pm | The OL serves as a leader, supporter, facilitator, and coach to first year students and their families and guests in an effort to provide a seamless transition to UW. As a team, we provide high-quality education, support, and transition resources to nearly 9,000 first year students, including transfer students and international students. Student Coordinators: The Student Coordinator position is highly visible on the UW campus. The ideal candidates would be interested in supporting new student transitions, have a desire to learn about office and administrative functions, be detail-oriented, and be committed to working on a team with a unified vision.
