UW School of Medicine’s new Rooting For You MCAT Book Drive program is excited to offer a free previously used MCAT Prep Book set to students who have difficulty affording them (qualify for AAMC’s Fee Assistance Program). If you are interested in pursuing a career in medicine and would like to be receive a free used MCAT prep book set, please fill out this form by December 22,2021.
How their program works:
- Fill out this form
- Email a screenshot of the email of approval for AMCAS’s FAP with your name and AMCAS ID number
- Because their supply of book sets is limited, they will prioritize students with the closest MCAT test dates. You are still eligible to apply without a set MCAT date.
- They will arrange pick up times and dates for you to pick up your set
- After your MCAT exam, they ask that you either return the book set to them OR donate it to your local public library
