UW Center for Communication, Difference and Equity (CCDE) Hosts Interrupting Privilege Release Party – Nov. 18

The Center for Communication, Difference and Equity (CCDE)’s Interrupting Privilege website is ready to launch! Come celebrate our five years of intergenerational, racial dialoguing at our Interrupting Privilege Website Launch Party. Join us on Thursday, November 18th, 2021, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM in person at the UW Othello-Commons or online at the streaming event.* Please confirm your attendance at your earliest convenience: RSVP here. We look forward to celebrating the Interrupting Privilege Website Launch with you! 

This event will include: 

·                     Brief history of Interrupting Privilege  

·                     Website Demonstration  

·                     Story sharing by Interrupting Privilege participants  

·                     Radical Listening practice and participation 

·                     Taco eating! We will provide Taco Street Tacos to enjoy outside or take home  

UW Othello-Commons is located at 4200 S Othello St, Seattle, WA 98118, across the street from the Othello light rail stop. Limited parking is available in the cul-de-sac (from Martin Luther King Jr. Way S., turn onto S. Myrtle St., which turns into 42nd Ave. S.). Paid street parking is available on 43rd Ave. S, and free parking is available on S. Othello St. on both sides of Martin Luther King Jr. Way S.  

*Following UW and King County Public Health protocol, to enter into the venue, you will need to show proof of a Covid-19 vaccination card or a negative Covid-19 test; you must wear a mask at all times.
