Opportunities at Kaiser Permanente Health Research Institute

The Survey Research Program at the Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute conducts survey research and data collection activities for scientific investigators at the institute as well as outside organizations. They are currently looking to fill the following roles:

Research Specialist II – Phone Operations Team: The Research Specialist II participates as part of the core phone operations team and supports operational activities for the SRP phone-based projects, focusing on study recruitment, enrollment, and data collection. The Research Specialist II contributes to successfully implementing study phone-based protocols, including reviewing materials, training Research Interviewers, and providing mentoring and feedback to Research Interviewers to ensure productivity and high-quality work. Our ideal candidate has great attention to detail, adheres to study protocols to assure data quality, and has an interest in health and survey research. Must have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and be a team player able to take initiative to get the job done. This position is onsite with occasional evening and weekend hours required, as needed.

Research Specialist I: This position will primarily be working with survey project managers to execute projects, including preparing participant mailings, tracking participants, testing web survey programming, and general administrative tasks. Must have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and be a motivated, team player that takes initiative to get the job done. MS Office, customer service and protocol-driven work experience preferred. Work is on-site in Seattle.

Research Interviewers, Temporary, Part-time:  Research Interviewers conduct surveys via telephone on various research projects using Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) software. They follow specific Survey Scripts and project specific protocols and procedures. They may also support the Survey Research Program by performing research project related clerical and data processing duties. Variable and flexible scheduling, including days, evenings, and weekends. **Great for students and people needing flexible hours.**  Work is on-site in Seattle.
