Solving Global Problems Workshop 10/18

If you’re interested in biology and education, you are invited to the Solving Global Problems Workshop this Monday, October 18th from 4-5pm at the Foster Business Library hosted by Synbio for Everyone and iGEM. Synbio for Everyone is an RSO that aims to improve accessibility education and reduce STEM educational equity gaps. UW iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine) is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of synthetic biology, education and competition.

During this workshop, they will be discussing what synthetic biology entails and how both RSOs, Synbio for Everyone and iGEM, use synthetic biology within their clubs. They will also be working together to solve an activity relating to various real-world global issues, and thinking about how synthetic biology can be used to address these issues.

Please fill out this google form to RSVP and receive information about the meeting location.
