Interested in a Career in Real Estate? Check out the following October Info Sessions and Events

The Runstad Dept. of Real Estate will be having our first info sessions for both the undergraduate and graduate programs in our dept. this coming month.

The undergraduate major  in Real Estate is a ‘minimum requirement’ major, so we welcome all students who are in good academic standing overall and who have completed our introductory (R E 250) class with a 2.0 grade or higher. Additionally, we have created an ‘advanced standing’ track of our graduate (MSRE) program which allows students who’ve had a quantitative background in their undergraduate studies to complete a master’s degree in as little as 3 quarters. More information can be found on the respective program pages below.

October 22, 6-8pm – UW Real Estate Club’s Autumn Mixer

You’re officially invited to participate in the UW Real Estate Club’s biggest event of the year, our first-ever Autumn Mixer! This event runs in partnership with the UW Sales Club and we’ll have catering from the Old Ballard Catering Company. Take this opportunity to mix and mingle with all the other Real Estate colleagues and professionals in our UW community. There’s free food, easy networking, and an amazing guest speaker!

Join us for an evening of fun and networking as we hear from Jeff Lyon, the current Chairman and previous CEO of Kidder Mathews. In his 21 years as CEO, Jeff grew Kidder Mathews to the largest privately held commercial real estate company on the west coast, reaching total revenues of $212 million in 2020.
