Are you looking to get the inside scoop on how innovation occurs in healthcare? This class teaches the mechanics of taking a promising healthcare or life sciences solution from inception to commercialization. By the end of the course students should expect to have an awareness of current big problem areas, biodesign processes, and the health innovation pipeline, including issues related to intellectual property, company formation, healthcare markets and reimbursement, and the medical regulatory process. Although not required, teams are invited and encouraged to go beyond the class to compete in the 2022 Hollomon Health Innovation Challenge. This course is taught by Will Canestaro, PhD, Managing Director at WRF Capital.
