Women in Applied Math Mentorship Program – Apply by February 22!
This Spring, the Applied Math diversity committee will be organizing the fourth iteration of the Women in Applied Math Mentorship program (WAMM). In essence, this directed reading-style program pairs undergraduates with female graduate student mentors from the department to work on a quarter-long project involving an applied math-related field of interest. More information can be found on the WAMM page on the Applied Math website.
The committee strongly encourages women who are in their junior years to apply. Preference will be given to students who have not had access to extensive research opportunities. Applications are open now and close on February 22, 2021. Students can submit their applications at the following link, which is also available on the WAMM page:
Feel free to reach out to the committee at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
