Event description:

Those who sustain brain injury as a result of a stroke, accident, contact sports, or chronic illness make up a community of individuals that often go ignored and underserved in our society. In the face of this ongoing struggle, there is a variety of ongoing supportive community organizations and cutting edge research projects that hope to improve the care and recovery outcomes of head injured individuals.

While recovery is an uphill battle, these panelists make it their job to help create positive outcomes in recovery and center the care of head injured individuals. Join Synapse to learn more about brain injury and hear from six panelists with unique perspectives and expertise across a range of disciplines as they discuss their work within the field of brain injury and disability.
