How to Network at Management Consulting Company Presentations and (Virtual) Information Sessions

Welcome to Day 1 of our month-long series focused on giving you daily, actionable help this recruiting season!

This week is resume and networking week. To kick it off, we’re talking about networking at consulting firm info sessions.

Consulting firm informational sessions and presentations are a unique opportunity to make a good impression. But they are also a good way for you to gather insight into firm culture, project style, and more.

Remember, top performers ask questions to help determine which firm is right for them. Why? Because as a top performer, you have options.

So don’t go into these sessions with an air of desperation – network to gather information. Be careful though – it’s a lot more difficult to leave a lasting good impression than it is a lasting bad one!

So how should you approach firm information sessions? We break it down here.
