Interested in Social Justice? It’s Important to Know Current Events

While there are many ways that we can stay connected with coalitions and other grassroots organizations to create positive social change, much of today’s world is changing rapidly and we need to know as much as we can in real time to respond to issues that affect our communities. The best way to consistently be aware is to continuously read and review news in as many forms as possible. One of the best ways that we can stay connected is through social media and by checking on our allies and accomplices through Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram we can see what is affecting communities at the ground level.

Below are some other sources of current events that can help us stay informed about opportunities for our work to be put into practice and other ways that we can use our skills and experience.
