International career course – Globalizing Your Career: London and Paris

As leading cities in Europe and the world, London and Paris are the ideal introduction to navigating the global economy. Open to all UW students, this course is ideal for those interested in either working abroad or preparing to work in today’s interconnected global workforce through understanding different work cultures, economies and opportunities for international careers.

The Course Roadmap
This is a 4-credit combined Winter Seminar and Spring Break Study Tour (similar to an exploration seminar) to London and Paris.
After the weekly winter quarter seminar, students will:
– Live in and visit London and Paris as a tour group during spring break
– Connect with UW alumni at networking events
– Visit top industry employers.

Open to all UW students, selection criteria includes an interest in global employment, a desire to improve professional skills, and openness to be a part of cross-cultural settings.
