Are you an incoming transfer student wanting to get a head start on your future career? Check out General Studies 297 I: Career Exploration for Transfer Students!
As a first year transfer student, you bring a unique combination of skills and strengths to the University of Washington. This hybrid online and in-person course will help you connect academic interests with career pathways, learn how to confidently talk about your experiences, and support you in finding opportunities and community through networking.
The course will meet in-person four times over the course of Autumn quarter on Tuesdays from 9:30-10:50 in Mary Gates Hall 134. Students will also attend one in-person small group coaching session or career event. The rest of the course will take place online through assignments, videos resources, chat room discussion, and virtual group work.
This course is listed in the time schedule under General Studies 297 I (SLN 23647). For more information and the add code, email Caitlin Goldbaum at firstname.lastname@example.org.
