Internship Corner – Internships Relate to Career Outcomes

According to UW alumni, having a meaningful internship experience makes a difference in today’s job market. In fact, 55% of the respondents to the 2016-2017 UW Alumni Survey reported that they completed at least one internship while in school and that the skills gained from their internships were important for their current jobs.  Additionally, internship participation was found to be statistically related to being employed in a “career-related” position.  To learn more about what the 2016-2017 graduating class is up to, be sure to check out this graphic.
