Mark Your Calendars for Literary Career Day

Calling all creative writers, humanities majors, and literature lovers! The Seattle Public Library will be partnering with the Seattle Office of Arts and Culture and One Reel to sponsor a FREE Literary Career Day for young adults. This will be a day of conversation and workshops specifically for literary artists age 16-24.

Literary Career Day will be Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 11am-4pm at the Seattle Central Library.

Events will include:

Keynote speeches by writers such as Seattle Civic Poet Anastacia-Renee Tolbert

Free lunch and a party

Breakout sessions on topics such as what it takes to be a professional writer, how to raise money in the literary world, DIY literary communities, and creative literary careers.
