First up? The annual UW Government Job & Internship Fair on October 26th from 2-5pm in the Mary Gates Hall Commons. More than 25 employers will be in attendance – including the FBI, City of Seattle, Washington State Department of Health and many more – eager to meet in-person and talk with UW students and alumni interested in learning more about opportunities at their organizations. Online more your speed? The Intelligence Community (comprised of multiple agencies focused on national and international intelligence work) is hosting a Virtual Career Fair on October 26th from 11a-5p. Although entirely online, you’ll have the opportunity to interface via chat with recruiters from agencies including the DEA, NSA and FBI. - Federal Occupations Toolkit – This tool helps the user see all of the various types of jobs in the Federal Government, defines each one of them, and provides a quick search on USAJOBS to see what it currently available.
- Interns and Recent Graduates – This page gives the user information about the Pathways Programs, for students and recent graduates, and attempts to answer questions concerning the eligibility, program administration, training and development, program completion and additional resources.
- Applicant Tools and Resources – This section offers short informational videos to answer questions we routinely receive concerning the Federal hiring process, and additional documents to assist the job seeker when applying for a Federal job.
