Are you a sophomore student who identifies as a woman and/or student from an underrepresented minority background? Have you ever considered a career in asset management? Consider this is exciting opportunity from Girls Who Invest!
A career in asset management is intellectually stimulating and meaningful. Women and minorities run just 1.1% of the $71.4 trillion of assets managed worldwide. Girls Who Invest, a non-profit specifically geared toward placing more women in the pipeline, needs your help to find bright and talented diverse sophomore women from all majors for our 2018 summer intensive program.
The summer intensive program consists of four weeks on campus at the University of Pennsylvania or University of Notre Dame learning core finance and investment concepts from top business school professors, followed by a six-week paid internship at a leading asset management firm. The program is tuition free and includes room and board.
We understand that a full summer program may not be feasible for some women. Those who prefer to learn online can apply to our tuition-free, self-directed online programs. Our programs include a Coursera joint certificate program from Wharton and Coursera for sophomore women and a CFA Institute Investment Foundations™ certificate program for freshmen women.
Applications are open now through December 1, 2017 and available at http://www.girlswhoinvest.org/students/
