The annual Sustainable Festival celebrates sustainability efforts at the University of Washington, highlighting the amount and breadth of contributions and leadership efforts across campus as well as providing opportunities for students, faculty and staff to get involved.
This year, the festival is hosting a Sustainability Careers Meet & Greet on Monday, October 23rd in HUB 334 at 3:30pm
Presentations on sustainability careers with representatives from the business, non-profit, government and education sectors, followed by a meet and greet for students to talk with the speakers. Presenters speak briefly on their organizations but also on their individual career paths. This event is for students in all majors who are interested in learning how to connect their career path with sustainability.

Another great opportunity for networking and making connections is at the Sustainability Fair on October 25th in the Intellectual House from 11am-2pm. Visit with dozens of UW departments, student groups, organizations, vendors and community partners and learn what they’re doing for sustainability.
