Young Engineering Professionals Mentorship Program

Are you interested in establishing a mentoring relationship with an engineering professional?

The UW Career Cyempflyerenter at Engineering is currently looking for students to participate as mentees in the UW Young Engineering Professionals Mentorship Program (link to website) during the Winter Quarter 2017. The UW Young Engineering Professionals Mentorship Program pairs UW engineering students with professional engineering alumni to encourage professional development and establish personal connections between the mentors and mentees through the combination of structured on campus mentoring and informal, unstructured off campus events.  The ultimate goal of the program is to enhance the educational experiences of UW engineering students by preparing them for the professional world through knowledge sharing of current professionals.

Time Commitment

The program timeline roughly aligns with the winter quarter, beginning in December and ending in March. Participants should be willing to commit to attending two weekday evening on campus events and one weekend off campus event every month. Mentors and mentees should also be flexible to work around each other’s schedules.

2016 – 2017 Program Applications

Mentees:

Current UW engineering students interested in the program should complete the mentee application here. The deadline to complete applications is November 7th, 2016.
