Students often mention to me in career advising appointments how great it would be to “travel” as a part of their job or career, to work for a global company, to have work and life adventures beyond our grand state of Washington. For most people, it takes time, experience and connections to make this happen.
That being said … we are so fortunate to have a global leader and truly innovative company with their headquarters right in our backyard, who also has operations throughout the world.
Yup, I’m talking about Microsoft.
Via their international recruiting page, you can search openings and opportunities in Asia Pacific, Europe, India, Middle East, Africa, Latin America and of course, North America.
Microsoft has internships for undergrads, graduate student opportunities, MBA level and even apprentice programs for 16-24 yr olds. They have “opportunities specific to sales, marketing, services, engineering and more.”
