Campus club involvement can build useful job skills

Part of a club on campus? Assist with the club’s marketing, event planning, budgeting, member recruitment, and more to develop skills employers are looking for like writing and problem solving. Often you don’t even have to be part of the club leadership team to help out on projects and at events. Clubs are also a great way to try out tasks you have never done before like corresponding with professionals in your field or gaining fluency with database software.

Not part of a club, but want to find one? Search for UW clubs based on interest, focus and more! Many cool clubs are also a part of Dawg Days where you can meet members and check out club activities for the year.
