Non-tech skills matter for tech jobs

Maybe you are a master at analyzing huge chunks of data or extremely proficient at coding in Java, but people skills still matter in tech jobs. Skills like written and verbal communication, empathy, and curiosity are critical for many complex projects and roles. Look for ways to practice your non-technical skills in group projects, on-campus jobs, and club activities or even through taking non-tech electives in areas like English composition, technical writing, communication, and drama.
